I believe that the most important component of therapy is the therapeutic relationship. I provide a nonjudgmental, mindfulness-based approach to my treatment to help my clients feel heard, validated, and supported. I support my clients in developing self-awareness to help increase their sense of competence, control, and, ultimately, life fulfillment. My approach is always collaborative, as I am a firm believer that clients are the experts of their own lives.
I am trained in a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques that allow me to tailor my work to the individual needs of my clients, including EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I specialize in a variety of needs, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), high risk behaviors, suicidality, personality disorders, substance abuse, trauma, couples counseling, coping skills, and adjustment challenges.
