Chris began his work as a clinician in residential treatment working with adolescents diagnosed Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), eating disorders, or other behavioral or conduct issues. After pursuing a Doctoral degree in 2014, Chris worked in community mental health settings helping a variety of clients with a broad array of mental health concerns. This included a variety of treatment modalities including individual, family, and group therapy.
Over the last 4-5 years, Chris has been focused on integrated medical and mental health care services. Chris’s current focus in treatment includes a combination of traditional counseling interventions as well as behavioral medicine. He is passionate about helping people increase health behaviors and helping others to improve their physical and mental health.
Chris enjoys spending time with family and friends. His personal interests and hobbies include a mixture of sports and outdoor activities. International travel and experiences in different cultures have helped Chris to gain a greater awareness of his own culture and values. He has instilled in himself the importance of approaching others with humility and a multicultural orientation.
