Norma Farris, ACMHC

Norma Farris’ approach with clients is Client Centered with an emphasis on self-acceptance, problem solving, and coping skills using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Insight Oriented Therapy and Self-Esteem building.

Norma specializes in processing of trauma, decreasing depression, anxiety, improving relationships, and Women’s issues including emotional abuse. Her passion is helping people overcome obstacles in their lives that are preventing them from moving forward and reaching goals of feeling well mentally and emotionally.

She received a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from the University of Utah and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University.

Aside from her work, she loves spending time with her daughter, watching her in dance and musical theater. She enjoys being outdoors, swimming, hiking, traveling, and going to the movies and live theater.
