Once a week counseling and sometimes even medication therapy falls short of significantly helping a child.

Somehow, it’s not enough. Your child’s achievement at school suffers, or they are repeated absent from school. They lose friends or gain friends who are bad influences. They express anger toward you and become oppositional and defiant. Their anxieties and depression interfere with their doing much of anything. Your child may quit their hobbies and recreational activities. Motivation becomes frozen. They isolate to social media, Instagram or endless video gaming.

Sometimes intense and frequent cognitive behavioral and emotion forward treatment can help break these concerning patterns. More, effective treatment promotes the building of health resilient coping and functional patterns leaving little room for the destructive patterns to occur.

Eligibility:
-Severe symptoms and symptom patterns that limit functioning.

-Moderate to severe symptoms that have not responded to previous treatment and which are limiting the child’s functioning.

-Severe deficits in emotional regulation which interfere with normal development and functioning.

Our Intensive Outpatient Treatment occurs 3-5 days a week for 3 hours a day. It offers the intense repetition required to shift destructive patterns into functional patterns.
