I recognized the importance of therapy and mental health care while I was in high school. I had a lot of friends and family members who struggled in secret; afraid to open the door to therapy and be vulnerable. From then on, I wanted to be the person that created a comfortable environment for anyone to communicate their mental health concerns, and reach out for help. My personal, educational, and professional experiences have helped me develop many
meaningful skills that allow me to do just that.

I have experience working with teens engaging in court-ordered treatment and students from Ogden School District providing therapy in the school setting. I have also worked with many adults using telehealth services through a nonprofit organization. I have learned the importance of creating a therapeutic relationship with my clients, beginning where the client is at, utilizing communication skills, and creating safe spaces with effective support systems.

My passion centers around helping individuals, families, and communities reach their goals and achieve their full potential. I have worked with teens and adults throughout my professional career, and have loved watching individuals thrive and achieve their goals through guided support. I have worked with a variety of diagnoses including depression, anxiety, grief, ADHD, and more.

I currently have completed training in trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy, and have completed courses in trauma care, CBT, and DBT as well as acceptance and commitment therapy and solution focused therapy.

I use many different approaches in a therapy setting. I believe it is important to cater my approach according to the needs of the person in front of me.
